Admissions

When you’ve decided Hershey Montessori is the right fit for your child and your family, we have a simple admissions process.

Hershey Montessori School is open and remains a vibrant community of learners.

As we navigate the uncharted territory of a global pandemic, Hershey Montessori School remains committed to continuing to offer a high-quality learning experience for our students while keeping them safe and healthy. We are also committed to supporting our entire community by sharing resources and communicating regularly.

Staff members are currently working remotely under the recommendations made by public health officials. Feel free to leave us a voicemail at 440-357-0918 or email usWe are here for you.

Hershey’s Fall semester is ready and slated to begin as originally scheduled, within the guidelines of our government health agencies. Because of the nature of the global pandemic, we are developing contingency plans to ensure that no matter where health regulations and guidelines stand come this August, we will be ready. We will remain fluid so that our staff, students, and families enjoy Hershey’s rich education in the safest manner possible. Whether we continue remote learning, classroom learning, or a hybrid of both, Hershey Montessori School and its students will be equipped to continue their education journey as scheduled.

Hershey Montessori School staff and board are continually planning and preparing for the most authentic Montessori education experience possible. We greatly look forward to welcoming all new and returning students this Fall.

Prospective Families

Interested in joining our community for the 2020-21 school year? Contact the Admissions Office to begin or continue the application process.  Our admissions team would love to show you what you can expect to see at our school in the fall!  Zoom meetings and virtual tours are available. Please reach out to Lakisha Wingard at lwingard@hershey-montessori.org for more information about our Concord Campus programs (birth-6th grade) or Robyn Dill at rdill@hershey-montessori.org for more information about our Huntsburg Campus’ Middle and Upper School programs.

Virtual tours and information sessions are available, as are in person visits, in accordance to local and national health guidelines. Although we’ve passed our initial deadlines, the Hershey Admission Office is still reviewing day and boarding applications and financial aid applications on a rolling basis. You may fill out an information request form and we will send you additional information or you may contact our office at admissions@hershey-montessori.org to get the process started. We will work with your family through the applications and interviews process.

Step 1: Apply

Application forms are available online for the Concord Campus and Huntsburg Campus. Concord applications are accepted year round. Huntsburg applications received by January for the following school year are prioritized; applications received after January are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Step 2: Interviews & Visits

We want to get to know your family and your child during this process. At the Concord Campus, parents of children five and older interview with the Head of School and children visit with our staff. The interview may happen during your child’s visit or we may coordinate it to occur at a later date. Children under five visit with a classroom guide prior to acceptance. Students applying to the Huntsburg Campus will interview with Huntsburg staff. If the student is not available for an in-person interview due to location we will coordinate with you for a phone or video interview.

Step 3: Acceptance

We will notify your family of acceptance to the Hershey Montessori program.
