Natalie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University with majors in Biology and English. After teaching outdoor and environmental education to youth in Ohio, Washington, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and aboard a tall ship, Natalie completed the teacher licensure program at Baldwin-Wallace University. She holds an Ohio teaching license in Middle Childhood for Science, Reading, and Language Arts, and has taught middle school students at public and private schools before coming to Hershey in the Fall of 2022. She graduated from the AMI 12-18 Diploma Course through the International Montessori Training Institute (IMTI), in August 2024, deepening her knowledge of Montessori pedagogy and methods.
 
Natalie enjoys spending time with her four children (who are now teenagers and young adults) and exploring the outdoors while hiking, paddling, and cross-country skiing.
